*Identify tenants, and shop owners

*Be alert to new faces watching houses repeatedly

*Ask polite questions when unfamiliar persons linger.

Criminals rely on anonymity.

* DAYTIME VIGILANCE IS NOW AS IMPORTANT AS NIGHT

Criminals now operate in daylight because:

People are distracted

Guards are relaxed

Residents assume daylight is safety

Communities should:

*Watch suspicious movements during work hours

*Pay attention to unfamiliar motorcycles or vehicles

*Notice people asking unusual questions about occupants.

REPORT ALL SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY  TO THE AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY.
